The Moroccan bath — or Hammam — is one of North Africa's most celebrated wellness rituals, practiced for centuries as a rite of purification, community and self-care. At Danat Spa, we honour this tradition with a luxurious multi-step experience that leaves the skin intensely cleansed, silky smooth and luminously radiant.
The ritual begins with a steam preparation to open the pores, followed by authentic beldi black soap infused with eucalyptus and olive. A thorough kessa exfoliation removes impurities and dead cells before a nourishing ghassoul clay mask mineralises and purifies. The treatment concludes with a warm rinse and application of pure argan oil to seal in moisture.

You begin in our dedicated hammam suite where warm steam gradually opens the pores and softens the skin, preparing the body for deeper cleansing. Black soap is applied and left to work.
Your therapist performs a thorough full-body exfoliation using the traditional kessa mitt, followed by a ghassoul clay mask to mineralise, draw out toxins and refine the skin's texture.
A warm rinse removes all traces of the treatment before pure argan oil is massaged into the skin — leaving it silky smooth, nourished and radiantly luminous.
